RAY HOLLAND

FOUR OAKS-- Charlie Ray Holland, 66, passed away Thursday morning at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. W.L. Britt officiating.
Ray was born in Wayne County May 17, 1943, to the late Charlie James Holland and Esther Hinson Holland.
Ray is survived by his son, Donald Ray Holland and wife, Rita, of Goldsboro; his daughter, Renee Holland Jones and friend, Junior Jackson; his brothers and sisters, Jean Whaley of Dudley, Tinnie Deaver of Kinston, Rose Evans of Goldsboro, Faye Hargrove of Mount Olive, Darlene Holland Pyle of LaGrange, Ted Holland of Winterville, Dennis Holland of LaGrange, Linda Price of Goldsboro, Theresa Jones of Goldsboro and Ralph Holland of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Travis Weddle and Tamara Weddle Betteron; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his friends at the Friendly Mart #8 in Grantham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Chesley Andrew Holland and James Allen Holland.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his son's home, 108 Ironwood Road, Goldsboro.
