DUDLEY -- Willie Cobb Jr. 52, Cobb-Coley Lane, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
His life will be celebrated Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, with the Rev. Swindell Best and the Rev. Herman Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cobb Cemetery in Faison.
He was born Aug. 16, 1956, to Willie and Katie Hall Cobb.
He is survived by three daughters, Maria Jefferson of Bowie, Md., and from the union of marriage of 30 years to Faith Darlene Cobb, Krystal Cobb and Tiffany Cobb of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Darrell (Veronica) Barnes and Willie "B.J." Cobb III of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Keith (Pamela) Cobb of Goldsboro and Reggie Cobb of Dudley; 12 grandchildren; two aunts, Louise Cobb and Elizabeth Horne of Faison; an uncle, Harry Hill Jr. of Dudley; maternal grandmother, Minnie Newkirk of Dudley; a special friend, Carolyn Flyte of Elizabeth City; canine friend, Sir; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
