J.E. ANDERSON

James Ernest "J.E." Anderson, 74, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
The family will gather to remember J.E. Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Anderson, 3698 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
J.E. was born in Wayne County on Aug. 29, 1934, to the late Ernest A. Anderson and Bettie Holmes Anderson.
He was a retired carpenter and had worked for many years with Wayne Realty and Insurance Company. J.E. enjoyed working on cars and was always ready to go fishing.
J.E. is survived by his wife, Mary Mozingo Anderson; his children, Timothy James Anderson and wife, Lisa, of Goldsboro, Arthur Ray Anderson of Goldsboro and Glennwood Allen Anderson and wife, Rene, of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Cassidy B. Anderson and Kevin James Anderson. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Reid Anderson of Goldsboro, and his sister, Clell Anderson Spivey Marsh of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thurman Ray Anderson, and his sisters, Ruth Anderson Rouse and Mable Eunice Anderson.
