DUDLEY -- Charles Harold Mereday, 301 Stanley Chapel Church Road, departed this life peacefully Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Stanley Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kennie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatcher Family Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of Muriel Hatcher Mereday. He also leaves a son, Charles (Sarah) Jr.; and two granddaughters, Audrey and Sabrina.
He is survived by two brothers, four sisters and a a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Garris Funreal Home.
