JASPER W. FOREHAND

MARSHALLBERG -- Jasper W. Forehand, 95, died Tuesday at the Carolina House.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshallberg, with the Rev. Tim Decker and the Rev. Richard Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Victoria Cemetery.
Mr. Forehand was a veteran and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from the Federal Aviation Admin-istration after 35 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Jack L. Forehand and wife, Linda, and Gary A. Forehand and wife, Deborra of Marshallberg; sisters, Kathleen Anderson of Goldsboro and Ethel Dake of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a brother, Lester Forehand of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Cheryl L. Lockwood and husband, Joseph Sr., of Marshallberg, Lori K. Boorse and husband, Curtis F., of Smyrna, Catherine I. Deegan and husband, Michael, of Morehead City, Daniel L. Forehand of Marshallberg and Eduard A. Forehand and wife, Christy, of Dayton, Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel L. Forehand.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday from at the church.
