A celebration of life for Mary Weeks Alston, 74, 1011 Seaboard St., who passed Wednesday at Britthaven of Snow Hill, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, 206 Pearson St., with the Rev. E.K. Sutton officiating.
She will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park.
She was born in Duplin County on July 6, 1934, to the late Lee Best and Maybell Weeks.
Her survivors include her husband, William Alston, and one daughter.
There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
