JIMMY LANE

Jimmy Lane, 65, 109 Pleasant Ridge Road, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Visitation with the family will follow the service, and at other times, they will be at the residence. Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Tillman Family Cemetery off Highway 111 S., Seven Springs. Services will be offiicated by the Rev. Elbert Hollowell and the Rev. Kelvin Gurley.
Mr. Lane, a retired truck driver with Dumas Oil Company, was the son of the late Raymond and Lola Mae Tillman Lane. He was married to the late Carolyn Kelly Lane and is survived by a son, Jimmy Ray Lane of Goldsboro; two daughters, Beverly Lane of Goldsboro; and Deborah Lane McCumber and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren; a brother, John Lane of Spivey's Corner; and two sisters, Peggy Jernigan and husband, Harvey, of Dudley, and Faye Davis of Mount Olive.
A grandchild, Kelly Brook McCumber, also predeceased him.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mr. Lane may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of N.C., Inc., 5950 Fairview Road, Ste. 550, Charlotte, N.C., 28210-2102.
Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home.
