SNOW HILL -- Miss Mary Elizabeth Hardison, 88, passed away Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church. Committal services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Miss Hardison was a native of Greene County and homemaker.
Miss Hardison is survived by her sisters, Selma Lanway of Snow Hill, Minnie Matthews of South Carolina, and Kay Kearney of Goldsboro; and a brother, Doc Hardison of Fountain.
The family received friends following the service on Sunday.

Arrangements are being handled by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
