Mrs. Annie Ruth Chasten Murfree, also known as Snooke, 81, formerly of Rose Hill, died Thursday in Salisbury, Md.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, 521 Mack Ave., Salisbury, Md., with the Rev. M. Luther Hill officiating. A second funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Rose Hill, with the Rev. Dr. W.K. Raynor officiating. Burial will follow at the Murfree Family Cemetery, Warsaw.
Mrs. Murfree was the daughter of the late Henry and Rena Barnhill Chasten.
She is survived by her husband, Dorsey Murfree and four children.
Family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
Arrangements are being handled by Rose Hill Funeral Home Service.
