Died Feb. 25, 2009

Luevonia B. Robinson, 82, 3575 Thoroughfare Road, died Wednesday at Brian Center Rehabilitation Center.

The homegoing celebration will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Headquar-ters with the Rev. Antonio Blow officiating. Burial will follow in Rhodes Cemetery, Mount Olive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Rosell Robinson Sr.; and daughters, Mary R. Taylor, Brenda R. Mervin, and Denise Robinson.

To cherish wonderful memories she leaves four daughters, Priscilla Best, Carolyn (John) Cox and Chris (Larry) Johnson, all of Goldsboro, and Gloristeen Isler of Dudley; six sons, Lynwood (Bebra) of Mount Olive, Donald of Pikeville, James (Lisa) of Charlotte, Michael (Felicia) of Greensboro, Jackie of Phillipsburg, N.J., and Rosell Jr. (Alice) of Tacoma, Wash.; one sister, Joyce Broadhurst and one brother, Wilbert (Jane) Broadhurst, both of Goldsboro; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Luebertha Miller of Richmond, Va., and Louise Cockfield of Peoria, Ill.; and one stepbrother-in-law, John Frank Smith of Goldsboro.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will receive friends at other times at 3575 Thoroughfare Road and will assemble there in preparation for the funeral procession.
