NEW BERN -- Esten C. Harper, 80, of New Bern, died Saturday.
Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
Mr. Harper was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Lenoir County to the late Thomas Herman Harper and Laura Jenkins Harper.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
