ALICE N. SATTERFIELD

March 26, 1920-Feb. 21, 2009

LaGRANGE -- Alice Nichols Satterfield, 88, went to be with her Lord on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and Bishop Chris Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Alice was born in Hancock County, Tenn., on March 26, 1920, to the late Joe Nichols and Ida Kinsler Nichols and was raised by her grandparents, Eprahem and Nancy Ann Kinsler and special cousins, Jess and Goldie Kinsler. For 67 years, Alice was a homemaker and the wife of a Pentecostal Holi-ness minister, the Rev. W.B. Satterfield of LaGrange. She was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lena S. Graham and husband, Herb, of Chiefland, Fla., Jerry W. Satterfield and wife, Elaine, of Mooresville, Nancy S. Fields and husband, Glenn, of LaGrange, and Bridgette S. Daniels and husband, Foy, of Dudley; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 453 Lynch Road, LaGrange.
