GENE ANDERSON
March 29, 1923-Feb. 18, 2009
William Eugene Anderson, 85, Goldsboro, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Fred Crank officiating.
Gene was born March 29, 1923, in Lenoir County to the late Jesse and Eunice Sutton Anderson. Gene was a lifelong farmer and a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
Gene is survived by two sisters, Ruby A. Smith of Goldsboro and Margaret Toogood of New Jersey; special family friends, Jamie Friel of Goldsboro and J.C. Johnson of Princeton; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight from 4 to 5 at Rouse Funeral Home and following the graveside service.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
