HAROLD BROWN

Sept. 29, 1935-Feb. 16, 2009

Harold Brown, 73, passed away Monday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Harold was born in Johnston County Sept. 29, 1935, to the late Carl Brown and Lula Belle Murphy Brown. He was married to the late Christine B. Brown.

Harold retired from sales with Jackson and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the Goldsboro Downtown Lions Club.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Toler and the Rev. George Fox officiating. Interment will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Kenly Cemetery.

Harold is survived by his daughters, Teresa Beasley and husband, Bruce, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Lisa Joyner and husband, Brian, of Goldsboro; his sister, Janice Smith and husband, Maylon, of Knightdale; his grandchildren, Diana Beasley Lurie and husband, A.J., Ryan Beasley, Sarah Joyner, Nolan Joyner and Nathan Joyner; his great-grandson, Brayden Lurie; and his nephew, Tim Smith of Knightdale.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Goldsboro Downtown Lions Club, P.O. Box 1413, Goldsboro, 27533-1413.

The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his residence, 416 Southwood Drive, Goldsboro.
