MOUNT OLIVE -- Dennis Alan Brock, 48, 132 Emmett Davis Lane, died Saturday.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday night at 7 at Tyndall Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Rose and the Rev. Pete Williams. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Committal and interment will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pate Cemetery.

Dennis was employed with Shavender Trucking Co. at the time of his death. He was a member of Mechanized Calvary, was commander of Goldsboro Rifles Camp No. 760, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and was a long-time member and past director of Goldsboro Harley Owners Group.

He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Brock Jr.; his mother, Annie Mae Bennett Brock Walker; and his stepfather, John Robert Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Thompson Brock; a son, Alan Brock and wife, Jesi, of Mount Olive; a daughter, Ashley Matthews of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Gabriel Matthews, Brennon Knowles, and Logan Knowles Walker; two brothers, Danny Ray Brock and wife, Pam, of Warsaw, and Clay Walker and wife, Sandy, of Mount Olive; a sister, Jo Ann Walker Davis and husband, Lee, of Goldsboro; a niece, Adrianna Davis; nephews, Sterling Walker, Walker Davis, John Davis, Danny Ray Brock Jr. and wife, Ashley, and Wesley Ray Brock and wife, Heather; a great-niece, Hannah Brock; and special friends, Ronnie Bragg, Allen Brock, and Noel Rose.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to Goldsboro Rifles Camp No. 760.

Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home.
