MARGARET P. CULBRETH

Mrs. Margaret Potts Culbreth, 90, of 3102 Cashwell Drive, Unit 57, died Friday at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Revs. Adam Seate and Johnny Sasser officiating. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Margaret was born in Wayne County on March 12, 1918, to the late David Potts and Hepsie Roberts Potts. She was married to the late English Berlin "Bill" Culbreth. Margaret owned and operated Margaret's Beauty Salon for many years. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Chapter No. 54.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Billie Ann Culbreth of Goldsboro; her sisters, Lillian Potts Strick-land of Seven Springs and Lola Potts Byrd of Mount Olive; her brother, George Potts of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David R. Potts; a nephew, Jimmy Byrd; and a niece, Gloria Byrd.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1608 E. Pine St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
