On Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, Mary Best Hobbs, answered God's call.
She is survived by loving daughters, Geraldine Hobbs of Buffalo, N.Y., and Gloria Hamm of Suitland, Md.; sisters Addie K. Flowers and Gertrude B. Best of Goldsboro; and brother Brunish Best (Inell) of East Orange, N.J.
The family will receive friends Saturday at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1225 R St. N.W., Washington, D.C., 20009. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., and a Christian service will be held at noon. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Brentwood, Md., 20722.
Arrangements are being handled by Fort Lincoln Funeral Home.
