George H. Knudson Jr., 70, 808 Scott St., Goldsboro, died from terminal cancer Friday at his son's home in Waldorf, Md.
Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., on March 5 at 3 p.m.
George was a retired United States Air Force colonel and served for 24 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Ann Knudson of St. Albans, W.Va.
His survivors include his sisters, Shirley Isaac of Charleston, W.Va., and Carol Rockwell of Charlestown, W.Va.; sons, Lance Knudson of Waldorf, Md., and Mark Knudson of Virginia Beach, Va.
