Willie George Boone, 81, of Philadelphia, Pa., formerly of Magnolia, died Thursday.
He was the husband of the late Janie Merritt Boone of Waycross.
Funeral services will be held at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Rose Hill, on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gregory Carr officiating. Burial will follow at the Boone Family Cemetery, Magnolia.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son.
Family will received friends on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
