William Gordon "Bill" Dillard, 80, 101 Border Lane in the Rosewood Community, died Sunday at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Middlesex with the Rev. Myron Scott officiating.
Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Clarence Neblett Dillard and Thelma Hinsley Dillard and husband of the late Hanna Lewis Dillard.
Mr. Dillard is survived by three sons.
Family members will greet friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 4147 in Bailey.
