Funeral services for Dora L. Seay, 59, formerly of Goldsboro, will be held Saturday at noon at Goldsboro Free Will Baptist Church, Ben Brewington Court, with elder James Collins and minister Ann Hatch officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Dora was born to Mozetta Leggett and the late Robert Lee Leggett Sr. She was a graduate of Dillard High School Class of 1967. She retired from the United States Postal Service with 371/2 of service.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Joseph Seay of the home; one son, Steven Seay of Randalltown, Md.; two daughters, Sylvette (Troy) Garness of Waldorf, Md., and Nikki (Jerome) Ford of Marlton, N.J.; mother, Mozetta Simmons Leggett of Goldsboro; three sisters, Norma (Robert) Bradley of Goldsboro, Patricia Moses of Clayton and Donzetta (Milton) Richardson of Durham; five brothers, Clarence (Jonell) Leggett of Copperas Cove, Texas, Robert (Mary) Leggett of Golden, Colo., Sherrill (Opal) Leggett of Clayton, Edward Leggett and Claude (Linda) Leggett of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Nicoria Seay, whom she reared, Chalen Carness and Marcus; one aunt, Ossie Lee Williams of Goldsboro; one uncle, Edward Simmons of New York; and several nieces, nephews and others relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Norma and Robert Bradley, 305 Central Drive in the Central Heights Community.

Arrangements are being handled by Lightner Funeral Home.
