KINSTON -- Earl Clifton Justice, 87, 817 Doctor's Drive, Apt. H, Kinston, died early Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spillman Memorial Baptist Church in Kinston at which the Rev. Randy Outland will offiicate. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Born in New Hanover County, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired freight agent with CXC railroads.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Josephine Simmons Justice; and is survived by his wife, Nancy Olivia Reaves Justice, a Mount Olive native.

Also surviving are four sons and their spouses, Nicholas Grey and Sang Justice of New Jersey, Thomas Allen and Gayle Justice of Goldsboro, James Clifton and Penelope Justice of Virginia, and Mark Kevin and Suzanne Justice of Cary; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was also the brother of the late Viola Ernull and Margurite Eastlin.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one's choosing.

Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home of Mount Olive.
