LENA S. THOMPSON

Lena Sue Thompson, 73, passed away Saturday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Sue's life at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Sue was born in Guilford County on June 16, 1935, to the late Richard M. Hayes and Jettie Bell Hayes.
Sue is survived by her husband, Walter Thompson; her children, Ronnie Thompson and wife, Debbie of Goldsboro and Lynn T. Aldrich and husband, Larry of Goldsboro; her brother, Richard Hayes Jr.; her sisters, Hilda Tuttle and Bonnie Bonaro; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
