Columbus Bill Artis, 71, 107 Piedmont Place, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Among his survivors are his wife, Deborah Artis of the home, and six children.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble for the funeral procession.
