Leroy Marrion Jones, 89, 1128 G St., New Bern, died Monday at his residence.
The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at Rue Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. L. K. Staten officiating. Burial will be in New Bern Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Eliza Joyner Jones; and five daughters.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
A viewing will be at Oscar's Mortuary today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at the church Saturday an hour prior to the service.
