EDNA W. PIPPIN

FREMONT -- Edna Winbon Pippin, 89, formerly of Davis Mill Road, passed away Monday, Dec. 8 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Pippin was born in Wayne County on April 19, 1919, to the late Clarence and Maude Winbon. She was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Lancaster of Pikeville; one sister, Kay Goggin of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Ken and Brian Lancaster; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Christian Lancaster.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
