DORIS I. JONES

Doris Irene Spry Jones, 81, of 306 Commonsgate Drive, died Sunday at home.
Services will be held Sunday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Additional service information will be provided in Sunday's paper.
She was born in Fayette, Mo., to the late Luman and Thelma Irene Packwood Spry and was married to Marshall Patrick "Pat" Jones.
Mrs. Jones was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Goldsboro Bridge Club as a Silver Life Master Player, was a volunteer at Wayne Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years, and loved her Doris Club.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Mike Jones of Goldsboro and Rick Jones of Irmo, S.C.; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Jimmy Falk of Goldsboro; and seven grandchildren, Caroline Jones, Justin Jones, Ryan Jones, Michael Jones, Carrie Jones, Brant Uzzell and fiancée, Erica Letchworth, and Joy Uzzell.
The family would like to give a special thank you to United Hospice and caregivers, Susan Martin and her daughter, Paige. Also, a special thank you to the members of First Presbyterian Church.
