Mother Mattie Collins, 101, 609 W. Holly St., died Friday at her home.
A homegoing Celebration for Life service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Little Rock Disciples of Christ Church, 1307 N.C. Highway 581, Pikeville, with elder David Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest in Little Rock Church Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Lucy Ray.
She leaves precious memories with one son.
Viewing will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. in Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel.
