FANE GREENFIELD

A Celebration of Life for Fane Greenfield, 86, 3493 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, who passed away Monday morning at Lifecare Hospital in Rocky Mount, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Waters officiating. He will be laid to rest in the William and Mattie Greenfield Memorial Gardens, Seven Springs.

Fane was born to the late William S. Greenfield and Mattie F. Greenfield in Wayne County on May 26, 1922.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Warren H. Greenfield and Mr. William S. Greenfield Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Eldress Maude R. Greenfield.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory of his mother of the home; a sister, Ruth G. Harris and husband, James of Seven Springs; two brothers, Dr. Wilbert Greenfield and wife, Felicia of Accokeek, Md.; Dr. Elisha J. Greenfield and wife, Irma of Chicago, Ill; one sister-in-law, Dollie R. Greenfield of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held today at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. and the family will be present to receive friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Geral Grady, 3305 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, N.C., 28578.
