GEORGE A. SULLIVAN

Sept. 20, 1933-Nov. 14, 2008

George Ammie Sullivan of 334 Rosewood Road, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, after a long illness. He was the youngest son of the late John Lloyd Sullivan Sr. and Minnie Ellen Butler Sullivan and brother of the late S. Thomas Sullivan Sr.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patsy D. Sullivan, and his son, Gregory A. Sullivan of Goldsboro; a sister, Mrs. Betty Carraway and family of Ayden; a brother, J. Lloyd Sullivan and family of Shallotte; and a sister-in-law, Alice Sullivan and family of Raleigh.

Mr. Sullivan was a retired motel and property manager, as well as a car salesman.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Veterans Association or to the hospice of your choice.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the friends and family who have done so much to support us at this time.
