L.H. YELVERTON

Mr. L.H. Yelverton, 70, lovingly known by his family and friends as "L.H.," 927 Fairview Circle, Apartment B, entered into eternal rest on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. A viewing will be held on Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 1 to 7 p.m. A wake will be conducted Saturday evening from 6 to 7 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with the family present to receive other family members and friends.
L.H. was born March 29, 1938, in Wayne County to the late Pattie Parks.
Mr. Yelverton was a loving brother, husband, father, brother-in-law and friend.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Evonne Yelverton; one daughter, Sheila Ford of Groton, Conn.; three sons, L.H. Yelverton Jr. of Polkton, Tyrone Yelverton and Dennis Yelverton both of Raleigh; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Bertha Batts of Pikeville and Emma Gray Yelverton of California; a brother in law, Issac Taylor; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Mrs. Evonne Yelverton, 927 Fairview Circle, Apartment B, Goldsboro, N.C.
