Robert Lewis McClain, 71, Raleigh, died Oct. 8, 2008.
A graveside service, with the crematory remains, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at John C. Exum Family Cemetery located on the Robert and Georgia McClain farm in Wayne County.
Born in Wake County, he was the son of Eugenia Rowland McClain and the late Douglas F. McClain.
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his wife, Georgia Exum McClain; a son; two brothers; one sister; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
His brother preceded him in death.
Arrangements are being handled by Lightner Funeral Home and Crematory of Raleigh and Lightner Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
