JAMES STARLING

James "Jack" Starling, 81, 741 Gurley Mill Road, Princeton, died Monday morning.
The funeral service will be conducted tonight at 7 at Grace Baptist Church with pastor Justin Thomas and pastor Lesly Holt officiating. The committal service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Princeton Cemetery with associate pastor Gene Worley officiating.
He was born May 19, 1927, in Johnston County and was the son of the late Wade and Mildred Radford Starling.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rickie Charles Starling; granddaughter Laura Lee Starling and brother Donald Ray Starling.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Holt Starling; sons and daughters-in-law, James Glen Starling and wife, Betty of Princeton, Herman Wayne Starling and wife, Jean of Princeton, Jackie Starling and wife, Peggy of Goldsboro, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Starling of Smithfield; brother Bill Starling of Princeton; sisters Janice S. Todd of Goldsboro, Carolyn S. Coble of Greensboro; two grandsons; and daughter-in-law, Joshua Starling, Michael Starling and wife, Cynthia; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Shannon Duncan and husband, Lee; and one great-grandson, Nathanael Starling.
The family will receive friends tonight beginning at 6 at Grace Baptist Church and immediately following the service.

Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are being handled by Casey Funeral Home of Princeton.
