LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- William E. Warrick Jr., 74, passed away on Thursday morning at the Norton Pavilion Hospital due to complications from a chronic illness.
A celebration of life service will be held in the chapel at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro on Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Willowdale Cemetery.
William was born in Norfolk, Va. to the late William E. Warrick Sr. and Annie Laura Bryan.
He spent most of his youth in Mount Olive and Goldsboro. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1956, and spent his career as a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Warrick is survived by one son, William Warrick (Nicole); four daughters, Laurie Herman (Loren), Amy Wallace (Jeff), Elaine Shea (Rob), and Ashley Dutrow (Mark); and 12 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
