PRINCETON -- Ruth Wiggs Eonta, 80, died Sunday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Johnston County to the late Charlie and Lula Davis Wiggs.
Surviving are her husband, Joe Eonta Sr.; son; daughter; brother; sister; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
