MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles Ray Witherington, 58, 747 Shady Grove Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Calypso Cemetery.
He was son of the late Wilbert James Witherington and Beulah Deans Witherington Ledford.
He is survived by his wife, Linda D. Witherington; two daughters; a sister; and three grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to the Mount Olive Fire Department.
