MOUNT OLIVE -- Wilbert Ray Basden, 63, died Monday at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Basden Family Cemetery in the Beautancus community.
He was the son of the late Owen and Bessie B. Basden and is survived by four children and three sisters.
Family will receive friends at funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at home of Katherine Outlaw, 1002 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, in the Beautancus community.
