SCOTLAND NECK -- Norma Eason Smith, 68, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck. The Rev. Dr. James Drake will officiate.
Norma was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Ma."
Norma is survived by her husband, Tony Smith; daughters, Janet Harrell and husband, Keith, of Scotland Neck and Debra Barber and husband, Gene, of Roanoke Rapids; sister, Rose "Rita" Smith and husband, Bruce, of Goldsboro; brother, Alton M. Eason of Rocky Mount; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
