ELIZABETH CITY -- David John Carr Jr., "Pee Wee," 61, of 535 Rolllingwood Drive, Dudley, died Thursday, Oct. 16.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church, Mount Olive, with bishop Michael Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro
He leaves to mourn his wife, Mary Blount Carr of the home; step-daughter, Damiri Blount of Dudley; mother, Carrie Carr of Mount Olive; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processsion.
