JUDY A. HILL

Judy Annette Turner Hill, 63, passed away on Tuesday at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Judy was born in Johnston County on Sept. 2, 1945, to the late William Turner and Ila Pierce Turner. She was the former owner and operator of Little Tyke's Daycare in Rosewood.

Judy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold Lee Hill; her children, Tammie Brown and husband, Steve of Goldsboro, Jeff Hill and wife, Kim of Goldsboro, Sheila Adams and husband, Ronnie of Smithfield, and Angie Lynn and husband, Timmy of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Matthew Brown and wife, Sarah, Scottie Brown, Dawn Hill, Nikki Hill, Amber Adams, Taylor Adams, Haley McCullen, Shawn McCullen, Jordan Lynn and Kristen Lynn; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Turner of Goldsboro; one half-brother and one half-sister. She is also survived by her extended Hill Family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dale Bullock.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834 or the Bowman Gray School of Medicine for Cancer Research (WFUSM), in care of Hematology and Oncology, WFUSM, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, N.C., 27157.

The Hill Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the 9th floor at the Reynolds Tower of Bowman Gray. The love and care given to Judy will always be remembered.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 540 Parkwood Lane, Goldsboro.
