FRED A. JORDAN

Fred Albert Jordan, 56, passed away on Saturday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.

Fred was born in Tampa, Fla. on May 19, 1952, to Martha Stuart Jordan of Lutz, Fla. and the late Delma Aldredge Jordan.

He was a graduate of the University of South Florida. Fred worked many years for Winn-Dixie Grocery Stores as an accountant and most recently had worked as an assistant controller for Howell Child Care Centers. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Ghost Riders in Goldsboro. Fred was a member of Motorcycle Clubs in both Goldsboro and Raleigh and a former member of the Raleigh Ski and Outing Club. He was also a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother, Fred is survived by his sister, Barbara Jordan-White of Lutz, Florida; his niece, Cassandra D'Amario; his nephew, Austin Jordan White; and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Falcon Children's Home, P.O. Box 39, Falcon, N.C., 28342.

The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
