ROWENA G. TEACHEY

Rowena Gurganus Teachey, 68, passed away at her residence on Saturday.
There will be no formal services held.
She was the daughter of the late Thedie and Clara Gurganus.
Ms. Teachey was retired from the Wayne County Department of Social Services with 33 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a good friend to all who knew her.
Ms. Teachey is survived by sons, Bruce Teachey and Brian Teachey, both of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Ray Gurganus of Goldsboro; a sister, Grace Wiggs of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren, Blake Teachey, Kyle Teachey, Alexander Teachey, Sofia Teachey, and Daniela Teachey.
