REV. RONALD K. HURLBURT

Rev. Ronald Keith Hurlburt, 54, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Goldsboro Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Al Thompson officiating. Interment will be a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in Machias, Maine.
Rev. Hurlburt was born on May 23, 1954, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to the late Locke Hurlburt and Eleanor Burrill Hurlburt. He was the founding minister of Community Wesleyan Church in Goldsboro. Rev. Hurlburt served in the ministry for 33 years.
Reverend Hurlburt is survived by his wife, Jacquelene Polk Hurlburt; his daughter, Jewell Williams and husband, Dennis of Lynchburg, Va.; and several brothers and sisters. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Iona Polk of Cherryfield, Maine and his pets, Smokey, Spikey and Precious.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Goldsboro Wesleyan Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
