David Facie Weeks, 62, 227 Circle Drive, Pikeville, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Facie and Faye Weeks of Pikeville and the late Irene Walker Weeks. David was a retired realtor.
David is survived in addition to his parents by his wife, Tania Grant Weeks; sons, Anthony Weeks and wife Shannon and baby of Golds-boro and David Weeks Jr. and wife Cindy of Goldsboro; stepson, Jerry Worrell and wife Shirley of Pikeville; a brother, James Weeks of Turk Islands; grandchildren, Ken and Daniel Weeks, Trevor Worrell, and Freddie Coley.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will be at the residence at other times.
