Craig Steven Doubt III, 18, affectionately called "Mann", passed away after fighting injuries sustained by gun violence on Monday.

His life and memory will be celebrated by his family and friends on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lord's Table, 1215 Parkway Drive, with Pastor Vaughn Newsome of Spirit Filled Church Ministries officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.

Craig was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Margaret Doubt Moody.

Loving memories will be cherished by his mother and step-father, Leigh A. Doubt Monroe and Angelo M. Monroe; his father and step-mother, Craig Steven Doubt Jr. and Stephanie M. Doubt; maternal grandparents, Fred and Delores Simmons of Goldsboro; paternal grandparents, Craig Steven Doubt Sr. and Mary Doubt of Las Vegas, Nev.; three brothers, Jevonte' T. Simmons, Angelo M. Monroe, Jr. and Antonio D. Monroe; three sisters, Jasmine T. Doubt, Brandi J. Doubt and Jasmine M. Monroe. He also leaves a legacy of love for his son, Cameron Eric Doubt, who is cared for by his mother, Jahlisa Mungo.

In addition to the hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will help carry Craig home, the family gives special thanks to Edquan and Lequan Battle, their mother, Daphene and the rest of the family, as well as Craig's very special friend, Tiffany Greene.

A viewing will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St. The family will be present to receive freidns from 6 to 7 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1110 Clingman St., where they will also gather for the funeral procession.

On behalf of the combined families, we praise God for His Grace and Mercy. We thank all who cared for our fallen warrior, called to Glory, before we were ready.
