MOUNT OLIVE -- Edna Earl Jarman Price, 74, 136 Tommy R. Brock Lane, died Saturday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward "Ebbie" Price; her parents, Lonnie Jarman and Rosa Thigpen Jarman Whaley; a brother, Edward Earl Whaley; and a sister, Ruby J. Pate.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Price of Swan Quarter, Kenneth Price of the home, and Douglas Price and wife, Krystal, of Mount Olive; two daughters, Rita Close and husband, George, of Wilmington, and Debbie Williams and husband, Garry, of Mount Olive; a brother, Ivey Thomas Whaley of Beulaville; three sisters, Mary Susan Crawford of Raleigh, Minnie Pearl Price of Warsaw and Elizabeth Whaley of Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Clowey.
Her family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
