PIKEVILLE -- Mrs. Sallie Goodwin Barnes, 79, died Monday at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson with the Rev. David Barnes and Janice Massengill officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Bizzell Grove Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Mrs. Barnes was born in Johnston County to the late Will and Mamie Vaughn Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Barnes.
She is survived by her sons, sisters, brothers, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Wednesday night at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
