PINETOPS -- Rocky Allen Coggins, 47, died Thursday.
Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops, with the Rev. Kristen Williams officiating.
Honorably discharged, Staff Sgt. Rocky proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 10-plus years.
He was also a member of Temperance Hall United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his fiancée, Melinda Journigan of the home; parents, William and Barbara Coggins of Pinetops; brother, Rudy Coggins of Pikeville; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and the family pet, Chase, a loving cocker spaniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends at the home, Route 1, Box 38-A, Rick Moore Lane, Pinetops.
