LAGRANGE -- Wayne Earl Gow, 62, passed away suddenly on Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jim Whitfield and the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.

Wayne was born in Dimock, Pennsylvania on Nov. 30, 1945, to the late Floyd Gow and Martha Jones Gow. Since 1979, Wayne has owned and operated Wayne's Locksmith Service in Goldsboro. He was serving as the education chairman for the North Carolina Locksmith Association. Wayne served his country in the United States Air Force for 10 years. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Lyne Hinson Gow; his brothers, George Gow of Penn. and Floyd Gow, Jr. of Washington; his sister, Meritta G. Mekuta of Pennsylvania; his brothers-in-law, Roland Hinson Jr. of Jacksonville and John Parsons of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, Va., 22038-1132.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at the cemetery and other times at their home, 102 Joy Drive, LaGrange.
