WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Cleo Armwood, 78, 220 Savannah St. died Tuesday at his residence.
He was born in Sampson County to the late Almond and Hepsie Simmons Armwood.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Northeast F.W.B. Church, E. James St. Mount Olive, with the Rev. James Grimes, officiating. Burial will follow in the Armwood Family Cemetery in Faison.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Armwood; seven children.
Viewing will be held Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
